Dr. Angela Randolph

Director of State and Federal Programs, Desert Sands Unified School District

With 38 years of experience in the field of education, Dr. Angela Randolph has worked in school districts throughout Arizona and California. Her teaching experience includes elementary, post-secondary, and adult education. Her Pre-K-12 administrative experiences include Assistant Superintendent, Director of State and Federal Programs, Administrator of Curriculum and Instruction, Executive Director of Head Start, and Director of English Learners.

Although she has dedicated most of her career to developing and optimizing programs and services for Multilingual Learners, she is passionate about providing the best educational opportunities for all students.  She was a member of the English Learner Road Map Work group which developed the EL Roadmap Policy for the State of California. Dr. Randolph holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a doctorate in Education.
