Celebrating Community and Hispanic Heritage Month
This September, our team joined neighbors, families, and community partners at the St. John’s Community Health Hispanic Heritage Month Block Party. The event brought people together to celebrate culture, community, and health through activities for all ages.
From face painting and balloon animals to live cultural performances—including a vibrant set from Danza Azteca—the block party was filled with energy. Local organizations shared resources at a community fair, offering families information and support to help them thrive.
For us, being part of events like this is about more than showing up. It’s about strengthening the network of support around children and families. When organizations, neighbors, and leaders gather in celebration and collaboration, it reminds us of the power of community to lift up the next generation.
We’re grateful to St. John’s Community Health for hosting this event and for creating space where culture and community come together.
