Downstairs, parents and caregivers met with our friends at Olive Crest, who have spent 50 years strengthening families, to learn about resources available to them. Upstairs, Tiffany, one of our Friends, taught the kids about the desert tortoise, California's state reptile.

Our Friends get to know each child over many years, and the whole family along the way. What's good for a caregiver tends to be good for their kids, and the other way around. That's the thinking behind our two-generation approach, and an afternoon like this made space for both at once.
