Celebrating Community on El Paseo
Earlier this week, we gathered with supporters, partners, and new friends for our first ever Friendraiser on El Paseo. The event highlighted the power of connection and shared purpose as we work to provide long-term, professional mentorship to local youth.
The day began at Maison Leveque Boutique with a stylish hat presentation from Yolanda Leveque herself. Guests had a chance to shop the boutique’s beautiful collection, and we’re thrilled to share that Maison Leveque will be donating 10% of proceeds to Friends of the Children – Coachella Valley through July 31 for shoppers who mention us at checkout.
Next, we visited Artin Jewels, where guests enjoyed champagne and explored their fine and estate jewelry collection. The afternoon concluded with a lovely lunch at Porta Via, where our Executive Director, Karrie Schaaf, shared the heart of our mission and how we are already making an impact in the Coachella Valley. We were honored to have our Board Vice President, Randy Florence, in attendance to help represent our chapter and move our mission forward.
We’re especially grateful to our event sponsors, Porta Via and Harcourts Desert Homes, and to everyone who attended and supported this special day. It was a powerful reminder that when community comes together, anything is possible.
